Dr. K.K. Harikrishnan carries forward the rich traditions of his Ayurvedic lineage, which originates from Kerala, the heartland of Ayurveda. Born into a distinguished family of Ayurvedic practitioners, he mastered his skills under the guidance of his father, Vaidyan K.K. Kumaran, and other eminent physicians. After completing his graduation in Ayurveda Medicine in 1991 from Ayurveda College, Coimbatore, he pursued specialized training in Bala Chikitsa (Child Care) for a year under the renowned Bala Vaidyan Sri Gangadharan.
With more than three decades of experience, Dr. Harikrishnan has dedicated his life to authentic Ayurveda and universal health. He began his journey at his family’s Arogyodayam Ayurveda Vaidyasala, where he played a pivotal role in expanding the hospital and Vaidyashala into multiple branches. He currently serves as the Chief Physician at Arogyodayam Ayurveda Hospital and has been the Medical Director at Vaidyagrama’s third hospital cluster for about 15 years, contributing to its eco-friendly Ayurveda village model in Coimbatore.
Dr. Harikrishnan has built a strong practice, treating countless patients with diverse medical conditions, ensuring that high-quality patient care, traditional medicine production, and Ayurvedic treatments remain at the forefront of his work. His vision continues to guide both institutions towards excellence in holistic healing.
