Dear All doctors and staff

We would like to give our regards and love to all.

We three people enjoyed our stay in vaidyagrama for 19 days. We really appreciate and give our thanks to all staff.

We are not happy with the food; it is better to add little salt and daily dhal to be avoided. Our rice kanji was really fantastic. We would like to congragulate both the doctors.

We would like to visit vaidyagrama next year. Convey our regards and love to all.

With many blessings

Dear doctors and staff

First of all my humble thanks to one and all. I am pleased to have come here even though it is for a short stay. Staff are gentle, attention oriented, responsive to questions and help. Doctors treat the patient as a family or a friend. We lack this in this modern world. Doctors are approachable and warm to queries. The whole atmosphere is filled with love and affection. I have decided to come back for Panchakarma.

I wish this good work continues for ever and this vaidyagrama village flourishes well!

My sincere thanks to one and all.

To All the Doctors and Staff

A heartfelt thank you for the thorough and loving care you offered me during the three week stay.

Although my initial DETOX was uncomfortable and longer than I expected, I never felt that your dedication and in depth knowledge of Ayurvedic medicine would disappoint me. I am optimistic that this amazing time of healing and re-balancing will mark a new chapter in my life not only healthwise, but spiritually as well.

In faith, spirit and health, and with best regards. Thank you

Dear vaidyagrama

Thank you for all your love and knowledge freely shared with all of us. It has been an auspicious time indeed. If my dreams are indication of progress, then that is sufficient. The whole atmosphere here is truly healing and if there are any shortcomings, they are mine alone. I wish you continued success and will certainly recommend others to avail themselves of this space!

May God bless you in your endeavours.

To all the doctors & staff at vaidyagrama

When I first got here, I did not want to stay here in the middle of nowhere. After 1-2 days, I did not want to leave. I feel very blessed to be here in India studying Ayurveda. The classes and treatments have been wonderful and everyone has been so accommodating from beginning to end. Thank you Dr.Ramadas for your devotion to teaching and healing. Thank you to everyone else for making this such a wonderful place to stay. I hope to come back for treatment in the future.

Many Blessings

Dearest vaidyagrama family & friends

I have felt so at home and at peace here thanks to extra special attention that I have received from some of the staff. I will never forget my stay here and am sure I will return in the future. I have new friends that I will carry in my heart forever. I have also fallen in love with the natural surroundings here. The land is amazing. Speaking of amazing – all of the doctors, Dr.Ramadas, Dr.Om etc. are amazing.

Thank you all again for such a special stay.

Dear vaidyagrama family

I’m touched by the attention and care, I and the Kanyakumari group, have received here. Everyone was wonderful in welcoming us and making us feel like part of the family. The memories I’ve forme here will remain in my heart for a long time. I’m grateful.

Here, Ayurveda is truly a way of life. Vaidyagrama is an outstanding example of a community that honors that. I take with me lots of inspiration for my own practice and community; excited to share what I’ve learned.

Thank you for this opportunity – for us to come and learn from Dr.Ramadas and many others. I will return with others to experience vaidyagrama and all it offers.

Thanks also to Aparna, Sonia, Kavitha, Hakeem, Dr.Om and many others who made our stay here extra special. Please know you have a sister community in Wisconsin, USA.

Dear friends & family at vaidyagrama

This experience has been life changing for me in many ways. The staff and doctors are nurturing, caring and wise. I have felt so welcomed and cared for here. My knowledge of Ayurveda has expanded greatly and I know I’ll be able to care for my own patients much better. More than anything I have been inspired spiritually here. The prayers and chanting have made me more greatly aware of my true self. Thank you for this amazing experience. I can’t wait to return!

Dear vaidyagrama

March 2013

When I signed up to further my Ayurvedic studies in the Motherland, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. I have found a beautiful community – both in the simplicity of the ecological structures and in the hearts of the staff – that has given me greater peace, groundedness and the ability to slow down and BE. The studies have deepened my knowledge, inspired me to study Sanskrit, and helped me see Ayurveda medicine and Panchakarma from a new perspective. I have much admiration for all that you do – the caring healing of body and minds as well as promoting greater healing and sustainability for the earth. I look forward to my return when I can engage in my own Panchakarma and hopefully share it with some of my clients who may want to take the journey with me.

Many thanks and blessings to all who make vaidyagrama the nourishing sacred space it is.

Dear vaidyagrama

Ayurveda has come to life here. To study is one thing; but to study here is quite another. This place has reassured me of my commitment to Ayurveda.

The entire place has a strong vibration of healing & love. I have seen transformation in my fellows. I am grateful that this healing village is here and I will return again for healing and learning. I wish you the best.

You have been transformational for me. Namaste

To my vaidyagrama friends

This was my first experience with Panchakarma and now I am spoiled! No other place could compare. I have studied and admired the principles and practices of Ayurveda, but here they have come alive for me.

The caring staff, classical medicines and therapies, sattvic food, beautiful surroundings, and spiritual practices in the central hall promote healing in an organic way that has helped me experience the breadth and depth of Ayurveda.

The morning and evening prayers touch my soul, and will echo in my body, mind and spirit for a long time to come – at least until my next visit to vaidyagrama!

With profound gratitude and appreciation

Dear vaidyagrama friends

I never expected vaidyagrama to be such a nice and caring place.

My 14 days here was like a sweet home to me. And a very good experience. It was a wonderful time to move with each and every one. All the team has been kind and Dr.Ramadas, Dr.Harikumar. Thank you for your support.

All the therapists, Safira, Srisha, Ahalya and staff were caring and made me feel comfortable. For that, a big thanks to you so much.

Dear Doctors and staff of vaidyagrama

My experience at vaidyagrama was all that I expected and more.

The entire concept of the healing therapies is unique. It is often said that Ayurveda treats the whole body and cures the ailments in a systematic way. Another dimension of healing which is part of Ayurveda but not much given its due is the spiritual healing. Vaidyagrama uses this dimension well. If the mind is calmed down by prayers, bhajans, poojas and satsangs, it aids the body in preparing to receive the medicines and the treatments in a positive way. The mind and the body together create the environment to heal. Every morning there is prayer, agni pooja, Vishnu Sahasranama, healing shlokas and pranayama in the prayer hall.

On three days a week, a very educative Q & A satsang session on various topics takes place. Dr.Ramkumar attracts a sizeable audience with his brilliant answers. At 5.30pm usual satsang where all doctors take questions from patients. Every evening prayers and Lalita Sahasranamam.

In my four weeks, I listened to Narayaneeyam by a huge group, attended various poojas, Mrtyunjaya Homam, Ganapathi Homam etc. Such holy vibrations pervade the entire complex.

Patients from all over the world become friends in this atmosphere. The doctors visit every patient in their rooms at least once a day. The therapists and assistants give all the treatments, medicines and food with love. It’s like living with your family.

I came here with a few health issues. After four weeks of treatment and recuperation, I feel I’m on my way to recovery. I understand that full recovery is a long process in any holistic and systemic treatment.

Strict adherence to ayurvedic food, medicines and other habits are recommended. If prayers, pranayama and total surrender to the Almighty are added to the above, full recovery will become a reality.

My heartfelt thanks to vaidyagrama for their great service to the community!

To the Vaidyagrama family

I would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank You” to the vaidyagrama family for the magnificent treatment I have received during my stay here.

Life is a journey, and on that journey our lives are touched by the wonderful people we meet and the exciting memories we store for later in our mind. As we grow, these people and memories change us and remain with us. This is the memories I have of vaidyagrama and the staff (doctors, therapists, staff)

My journey to vaidyagrama first started in March 2010 and it was an unforgettable experience in culture and healing. On this, my second visit in march of 2013, the tranquil and peaceful surroundings are even more enthralling – gently touching and feeding each of my senses.

Waking up to the sounds of the birds chirping in the trees and morning prayers kickstarts your healing processes in the most ideal way.

A journey for good health comprises of looking after the body, the mind, the soul, the environment, and the people. A holistic approach. These five elements are all foremost in all the services offered here at vaidyagrama.

An ayurvedic hospital set in the plains of Tamilnadu with a backdrop of a majestic mountain range. Who could ask for more when you need all these pieces to start your healing journey.

With love, and peace and best wishes Until we meet again.

With love

Dear vaidyagrama

Health is a state of complete harmony of the “body, mind and spirit. When one is free from physical disabilities and mental distractions, the gates of the soul open”. (B.K.S.Iyengar)

In your holistic healing village, the gates my soul have opened again. There are no words that can express my very big gratefulness to the whole staff you all are so competent, friendly, caring and supporting! THANK YOU!

The healing of vaidyagrama and its staff is not a science but it is a magical intangible process – healing here is an ART! And this art is combined in a unique way with tons of love, humour, wisdom and spirituality.

Many thanks to God and all of you that make this place into a PARADISE! Keep it safe!!

Best wishes and many blessings

Dear vaidyagrama

Just as the name implies – a complete Healing Village.

According to me, it heals the body, mind and soul.

As I depart after my stay here, I realize that how much I was to connect with my own self. We are all stuffed with our life in the fast track lane, trying to make the most outta it…but we forget our true self…..we don’t spend time with our own self. Well this place, I was able to reconnect.

We should believe that this treatment, therapy, food, gatherings, will cure you. Yes, you might be bored but ultimately you will realize how much you will miss it when you will be leaving.

Hope all of us feel the same.

Looking forward to all your endeavours.

Will stay in touch

Dear vaidyagrama

Deepak Chopra says “Everyone has a purpose in life…a unique gift or special talent to give to others. And when we blend this unique talent with service to others, we experience the ecstasy of our own spirit, which is the ultimate goal of all goals”.

This is what the doctors in vaidyagrama do – blending talent with service.

Vaidyagrama is not a hospital. It is a home. A home away from home. Yes, but what a different home!

Set in a serene surrounding, in true harmony with nature, far from the sickening noise of urban life, it vibrates with the positive resonance of divine healing energy.

Here you can embrace silence as often as you wish, to explore and fathom your deep reservoir of inner peace and bring the mind into harmony with the inert body.

I enjoyed every moment of my 18 days stay here.

I offer my prayers to the Almighty that this great place grows from strength to strength in the years to come.

N.Bala, Coimbatore, India

Dear vaidyagrama

Thank you for being a caring and safe place to come to again and again for healing. As knowledge of Ayurveda grows in the world, I think this place and the classical knowledge and practices here will become much sought after. I very much trust this place will remain true to the roots of Ayurveda.

Until next time!

Dear vaidyagrama

I never expected vaidyagrama to blossom into such a gorgeously beautiful flower.

I look at the faces of my fellow patients and see bliss. Just recently, I spent more time in a hospital in the USA than the three weeks I spent here – I did not find such bliss there on the patients as I find here.

The care-kindness-consideration I found from all – Drs.Harikrishnan, Om Prakash (who were my doctors) as well with others – Dr.Ramadas and all therapists – was just amazing. I cannot thank my caregivers enough.

The will & desire for all to continue is clear – and I envy future guests who will be treated the way I have been treated.

God bless you and Lord Dhanvantari bless your patients.

Dear vaidyagrama family

I received more than what I expected. It was like a home away from home. Caring people all around helping you in all your needs. I thank each and every one of this big family. You have cured me both in mind and boy. Thank you all once again. Keep improving in what good work you are doing.

Dear Vaidyagrama community

As I prepare to leave this beautiful space after two months of being here, many memories, thoughts and feelings pass through me. The main sentiment is gratitude for perfection in everything there is. It has been such a journey to be here and surrender to the grace of Panchakarma.

Thank you so much for your compassionate intuitive care and patience. All the team has been amazing – my beautiful doctors, Dr.Ramadas, Dr.Harikumar and Dr.Aruna – thank you for being so supportive and for your gifts of presence, compassion and expert knowledge. All the therapists I worked with – Maya, Safira, Sasikala, Selvi, Sajitha and student helpers, you were all so professional and caring – thank you! A big thank you also to all other team members who give so much love and service through their work – housekeeping, the kitchen staff, the gardeners, office staff etc. – you make this place what it is with your beautiful smiles even when things are busy.

Thank you also to Dr.Ramkumar for your vision and co-coreating this healing oasis; and to Aparna for all your help; to the cows and the plants etc.etc. – it is so appreciated.

One aspect I’ve really enjoyed immensely at vaidyagrama is the emphasis on spirituality – the mantras, the agnihotras, the homas and the different pujas. They are such a vital aspect of Ayurveda that contribute greatly to our healing, whether we are aware of it or not. The doctors here have the ability to see beyond the obvious, which ash been invaluable to my healing. I love the emphasis on authenticity too – natural living, wonderful food and encouraging people to consider living in a way that benefits their health rather than just trying to fix symptoms. If vaidyagrama has already grown to this level after four years of existence, then I look forward to seeing what it will be like at its full potential.

What has been very valuable to me too were the guidelines in the small vaidyagrama book. I spent the first six weeks of my stay in silence without internet and as little external distraction as possible, and that was the key to understanding the root cause of my imbalances. When the wind rests and becomes still, we can finally hear ourselves and clearly see where we need to go. I leave vaidyagrama refreshed and with a lot of mental clarity as well as many tools for taking my growth to the next level. Again, thank you!

A couple of suggestions for improvement to make this space even more peaceful – I think it would be nice to have a patient block reserved for those who want to be in silence, like the “quiet zone” on trains where there’s no usage of mobile phones; only limited soft talking etc. When vaidyagrama is busy, noise from phones, patient congregations etc. can be quite high, so perhaps a “quiet block” would be good for those who really want to rest their senses even from /especially from excessive talking.

Along those lines, another suggestion is to implement some mobile phone etiquette. I don’t think I’ve ever been exposed to so many mobile phones and very loud phone conversations – loud ring tones are going off everywhere – during doctor consultations, during prayers, in patient blocks, late at night – and the conversations are not quiet, they are often very loud which is exacerbated by the otherwise peaceful atmosphere and can become very jarring. This doesn’t contribute to the serene space you are creating – so perhaps doctors and staff can keep their phones on silent / vibrate and check them between consults; perhaps you can also put some signs around vaidyagrama, especially inside/outside the prayer hall to be mindful of the noise levels and to keep phones switched off. Or perhaps an area away from the patient blocks can be designated for phone conversations. Vaidyagrama is such a wonderful healing space otherwise so I’ve found it a disservice to what you are doing.

Keep up your wonderful work and vision – I look forward to seeing you all again when I return (Insh’Allah) and I’ll keep your smiles and wisdom in my heart always.

In gratitude and with many blessings

Tiziana Stupia

Dear Vaidyagrama family

My 2nd visit to vaidyagrama was like a sweet homecoming, complete with a warm loving welcome! It was so nice and comforting to be reunited with many familiar faces (doctors & therapists, even the taxi driver!). I also am truly grateful I was able to return for additional Ayurveda treatment to continue the healing that began 3 years earlier and to strengthen the achievements that have been made since that time. The expert and compassionate care given here along with a tranquil and supportive environment have rejuvenated my body and soul. It was one of the best things I could have done for my health at this time. Returning to India has proved many valuable experiences to me that I do not have in my daily life back in the US. I cherish this time tremendously!

My sincere gratitude goes to the entire vaidyagrama family for all the work that goes into having this amazing clinic & ensuring its functioning. I was so impressed with the many changes and improvements since my last visit – new structures, new programs & activities. I especially enjoyed the community dinners – it was a wonderful time to connect with everyone on a more personal level and share lots of positive energy. Also I am thankful for my interactions with the new doctors and therapists I met this time.

Please know that all your efforts, work, commitment & dedication to this Ayurveda clinic are truly appreciated and very beneficial to good health. Please continue in these efforts and may you all have much success in carrying forward with the vaidyagrama mission. It is so essential to offer this type of care to people, especially given the type of world we live in today.

As I leave vaidyagrama, I am feeling very well physically and mentally. I also take with me many good memories and lots of medicines for my health program.

My vaidyagrama family will stay in my thoughts until my next homecoming!

Loving regards & Best wishes

Both  Rashmita & I would like to thank Dr Ramkumar  very  sincerely, without whose moral support we would not  have landed at vaidyagrama.  Inspite of his busy schedule he always had time for us.

We would like to mention that Dr Ramdas and Dr Harikumar also looked after us and were always willing to assist

We thank all therapists who are excellent and who do their tasks with love. They are always cheerful.

We feel energetic and rejuvenated. We would like to come back again

Everything and everyone at vaidyagrama is fabulous. To blend modernity with the ancient and traditional wisdom of Indian Ayurveda so seamlessly takes great vision and foresight. The entire experience here is once in a lifetime.

God bless you all

Thanks, Thanks, Thanks.

I am actually at a loss of words.  First & foremost et me tell you all that this was the first time that I have stayed alone and away from my family for 15 days at a totally new place. I was a little apprehensive initially.

But, I couldn’t believe myself when I realized that in all the days that I stayed here I never felt lonely at any given time. In fact I am regretting having to leave this place.

The credit for all this goes to the team of doctors, therapists, and all the staff of ‘vaidyagram’. Everyone was so polite and helpful.  Especially the doctors who were humility personified.

I would especially like to thank Dr Ramdas and Dr Harikrishnan for guiding me to think positively and surrender to the Lord completely, which is already helping me immediately.

I would like to thank Dr Om for being everywhere around the campus whenever we needed any help.  Last but not the least thanks to Kiran Amarnath for making me come here and experience a different life altogether. I really learnt to ‘let go’ finally.

Thank you everybody and God bless you all

May your tribe increase

Lots of love
